The development site is located in Colindale Ward and is bordered by Avion Crescent / Grahame Park Way to the west, the mainline railway tracks (and the M1 beyond that) to the east and existing commercial properties to the north and south.
This context creates a public realm designed around and dominated by car use. The new development will continue Colindale’s transition from low density car-based development to an urban environment based on sustainable, healthy approaches to transport such as walking and cycling.
The site is currently occupied by Trinity Church and a number of end-of-life prefab buildings. The emerging development proposals include a new replacement church facility for Trinity Church.
